I'm not sure how feasible it is to do with a game of this scope. But I've seen it done with text based muds before. Would be cool to be able to see who's online from the webpage. A nice touch for when your waiting for people to log on so you don't have to sit idle in the game.

Usually the most popular MUDs have an average of 20-30 players online...the population of Guild Wars is x10000+? That is a long list to scroll through just to find your friend

Yeah but you could always limit it to so you could check by guild name or character name.

this might be off topic..
and i might be wrong too
but whenever i look at 3D renderings of female mesmer and male monk in official webpage(renderings located at top right), it gives me korean-ish feeling
even prince rurik in game...

Why not do it in game like Half Life 2? >_> But we're getting a little off topic.

This is unacceptable conduct Gaile. Please add this with streaming technology!
Also, please buff the other characters. Having a necromancer only on the website is pure biased and obviously shows complete lack of balance.

Well for a friends or guild list of any kind you'd have to log in for it and that would require a lot of work and extra storage space and possible security vulnerabilties. But there are other ways you could do it. For example the camelot herald for DAoC has a spot where you can search for player or guild names and it gives you info on that character or guild. While that would be nice to it would be even better if it also showed you thier online status.

I like eye candy
Site looks nice, navigates better than the previous version, and I'm also liking the Guild of the Week feature; hopefully my Guild gets picked at some point, I think that'd be fun to have our name posted on their site, if even for a week.

There is one recommendation I would like to make Gaile - keep the menus opened after I click on them. Example I click on Gallery -> Gallery Index. It would be nice if the Gallery Index page still had the Gallery menu expanded.

It works fine for me (although the menu opens a bit late, when the page fully loads).

Love the new look--and maybe it was just me, but it seems to load faster as well. I always wondered a bit about my connection when I jumped to the GW Homepage, but not anymore--jumps right up like everything else. Congrats to ANet on another successful venture!
